Motion Sickness is an American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers' most upbeat song on her debut studio album, Stranger in the Alps which was released on July 18, 2017. The song is inspired by a tumultuous relationship the singer had with someone in the music industry that was fraught with power imbalances and emotional turmoil. Phoebe and her ex-partner had a professional and romantic relationship, but the relationship was marked by a significant power imbalance. Phoebe was younger than her ex and felt较小 and insignificant in the relationship.
