Finding the Meeting:

Meeting Structure:
Attending your first meeting can be a bit intimidating, but we're here to help. The night typically begins with a moment of silence for those still struggling with addiction. Then, a brief welcome is given, followed by the reading of the Serenity Prayer and the sharing of the main purposes of Narconon (see below).
You will then be called upon to share your experience with substance abuse and its impact on your life. This is an opportunity to connect with others who are also seeking recovery and support.
After the sharing sessions, the group leader will lead a discussion on the Narconon programs and how they can facilitate the recovery journey. Our program is based on the 12 Steps, which provide a structured approach to overcoming addiction. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have during this time.
Breaktime allows you to relax, network with other attendees, or catch up on the latest news related to addiction recovery. We always have information tables available, providing valuable resources for further support and information.
The second half of the meeting features an opening ceremony where each member of the group comes forward to share their experience with the group leader. This is another chance to connect with others and receive guidance and support.
Finally, the meeting concludes with a closing prayer led by the group leader. As you leave, please feel free to continue the conversation with friends or family members who may be attending the same meeting.
