I don't trust men

I can't settle on the right guy who shows attention, because I think all men only want sex.

Pop culture has led me to believe that all men only want sex.

Past experiences have informed my perspective, such as being emotionally manipulating by exes.

I've been hurt by men who only wanted physical intimacy.

I can't settle on the right guy who respects me.

I'm afraid of losing my self-esteem if dejections take a toll on me.

I'm skeptical of men who show attention to me.

I'm limited in believing that there are any good men out there

I'm taught that men are everything but vulnerable.

I'm unable to break the bonds that society has created.

I'm taught that expressing my true self is "feminine".

I'm unable to find a man who respects me for who I am.

I'm afraid of the unknown if I pursue men who haven't shown interest in me.

I'm hesitant to trust men who haven't proven themselves.

I'm concerned that the attention I receive is only based on superficial interactions.

If he's attentive and respectful, I'm worried he may just want to have sex with me.

I've decided not to wait for or pick from guys who show me attention, but to approach and give attention to the guys I truly want to form meaningful relationships with.

I've been in relationships with people who only wanted physical intimacy and commitment.

It's important to remember that not all men are the same.
