MSU Math Learning Center

Welcome to theMSU Math Learning Center, your go-to destination for free, high-quality math help. With a team of experienced tutors trained by the Math Department, we offer assistance to MSU undergraduates pursuing degrees in all 100 and 200-level math courses, with some upper-level course support as well.

Our Aim

Our main goal is to empower MSU students with the mathematical literacy skills they need to succeed in their academic and professional careers. Whether you're experiencing difficulties with algebra, geometry, calculus, or beyond, our tutors are here to help you overcome these challenges and achieve your mathematical goals.

What We Offer

In-Person Tutors

We have four in-person tutoring locations throughoutMSU's residential neighborhoods, where you can receive free help from our experienced tutors. tutoring sessions are held on various days and times, so finding a session that fits your schedule is easy. Online Tutoring

In addition to our in-person tutoring, we also offer online tutoring through Zoom. This allows you to receive help from a tutor regardless of your location. To request an appointment or for more information, visit our online tutoring page.

Practice Tests & Study Sessions

The Math Learning Center provides regular practice tests and study sessions for many of our courses. These sessions are a great opportunity to get familiar with the course material and improve your problem-solving skills. Assistance with Writing

Our writing center offers one-on-one and group writing consultations to help students at all levels of proficiency, in any stage of the composing process, and with any type of composing project.
