Diana Diamond

is a renowned American journalist, psychoanalyst, and professor. She has edited several newspapers and magazines and is a columnist for the Palo Alto Daily News. Additionally, she is a Professor Emerita in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at the City University of New York (CUNY), where she is also involved in the development of Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) for patients with Borderline Personality Disorder and PATHOLOGICAL NATURALISTHEIDEAS. Dr. Diamond haspublished extensively on topics such as psychoanalysis, personality disorders, attachment, mentalization, gender and sexuality, and cinema. She has also received several awards for her research and clinical papers, including the Research Award from the American Psychological Association (Division 39) and theAaron Stern Distinguished Visiting Professor Lecture award from Weill Cornell Medical College.
