Our Facilities

Aim Academy Chelsea is equipped with ten classrooms, a full-service commercial kitchen, a private room for nursing mothers, secure access controls on all exterior doors, and high-resolution cameras throughout the building. Our age-appropriate playgrounds offer plenty of space for children to explore and play, including a large activity court and a gazebo. The center also features a nature garden and a playground outdoor classroom, providing a safe and natural environment for children to learn and play.

Our Philosophy

Play-based learning is at the core of our curriculum, emphasizing the importance of purposeful play as a fundamental way to teach young children. Our play-based approach allows children to engage in active, hands-on learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional development. Our Programs

Aim Academy Chelsea offers a range of programs to accommodate the needs of children at different stages of development. Our preschool program provides a well-rounded program that covers math, science, language, and social studies, as well as art, music, and physical education.

Our Leadership

Cherita Cook serves as the director of Aim Academy Chelsea, bringing with her nearly 20 years of early childhood education experience. Prior to joining Aim Academy, she was the director of The Joshua School, a program in Colorado for children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Kinikia McCoy, who has worked as a teacher or administrator for the past 17 years, joined Aim Academy in 2023 as the assistant director. Both Cherita and Kinikia are passionate about early childhood education and are dedicated to providing the highest quality education and care for the children in our care.
