Give Like a Mother (GLAM) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) licensed organization founded in 2017 by Amy Vann. The organization is dedicated to providing local children and teens in need with appropriate, seasonally-appropriate clothing.GLAM focuses on providing high-quality, stylish clothing to children who may otherwise not have sufficient attire for school, events, or everyday wear. With the aim of increasing their self-esteem, reducing feelings of ridicule, and positively impacting their school experience and performance, GLAM provides clothes that are not only fashionable but also safe and comfortable for children to wear.

The mission of Give Like a Mother is to ensure that children in our community have appropriate clothing that provides safety, comfort, and a sense of higher self-worth. How You Can Help

Donations can be dropped off at the organization's storage unit, which is located in Batavia, Ohio. Additionally, an online donation system is available on our website, allowing you to make a secure donation.
Ways to Help

Donation Drives: GLAM relies on community donations of gently used or new clothing, accessories, and equipment. Individuals, companies, or groups canhost or participate in fundraising drives at their locations.

Volunteering: GLAM accepts volunteer applicants of all ages who are willing to help with sorting donations, organizing fundraising events, or setting up a drop-off location. No experience is necessary, and training will be provided.

Our Impact
Give Like a Mother has provided over 6,000 clothing packs to families in need since its inception. In 2022 alone, we distributed more than 2,200 clothing packs to children throughout Greater Cincinnati. Our goal is to continue expanding our programs and services to meet the growing needs of children in our community.

Amy Vann is the founder of Give Like a Mother and a passionate advocate for providing support and empowerment to children in need. As a mother herself, she understands the challenges that many children face in securing adequate clothing and the importance of feeling confident and comfortable in those clothes. Amy's vision for Give Like a Mother is to create a world where every child feels valued, confident, and capable of achieving their dreams.
